Gestalt coach & Gestalt therapist in training
NSG Academy · Nederlandse Stichting Gestalt / Dutch Gestalt Foundation

You are welcome here as you are, whatever your gender, background, beliefs, or life experience.
For me, therapy begins with creating a space where you can feel supported, respected, and able to be yourself.
Together, we look at what is happening in your life right now, including how difficulties may be felt and expressed in the body.
I also believe that what we struggle with is not only personal. The cultural, political, and even ecological world around us often affect how we feel and how we experience ourselves, and there can be value in making space for this in therapy.
My aim is to meet you with openness and presence. We then explore new ways of facing challenges, making sense of your experience, and drawing on your own inner and outer resources.
I firmly believe that there is something deeply healing in being genuinely met, person to person.
My approach
I am entering the fourth and final year of my Gestalt therapy training at the NSG Academy, following the standards of the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT). I have completed the Gestalt Coach-Counsellor programme.
I specialise in:
anxiety, self-confidence, shame
life transitions, periods of uncertainty
relationship, communication, or boundary difficulties
stress, pressure, burnout
questions of meaning, identity, direction, or purpose
My approach to Gestalt therapy is also informed by psychoanalytic, existential, and Jungian perspectives, as well as by ecopsychology. I hold an Advanced Certificate in Ecopsychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, USA.
Practical information
The initial free consultation gives us a chance to meet, talk about what brings you to therapy, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
Individual sessions are available either online or in person at my private practice in Gein, Amsterdam.
As I am currently completing my training, I offer 50-minute sessions at a reduced fee of €35. I also believe that financial circumstances should not prevent someone from seeking support, so if cost is a concern, please feel free to get in touch and we can discuss what may be possible.
Sessions are available in English or French.
The length of the therapeutic process varies from person to person. For some, a short period may already be helpful, while others may wish to work together over a longer period.
Alongside my therapeutic training, I have worked for several years as a university teacher and researcher. This background has made me particularly attentive to the pressures that can come with studies and academic life.
More specifically, I am also a social ecologist and associate professor at the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague (part of Erasmus University Rotterdam). My latest book is Degrowth: Revitalizing Critical Development Studies
